    Cash is accepted

    Credit Card payment is accepted but we must add a 3% fee.

    We do not accept checks

  • Most reports are submitted the same day, nearly all reports are submitted within 24 hours of the inspection being completed.

    If the home is over

    3,500 square feet, 48 hours may be needed to deliver the report.

  • We use an advanced inspection software called Spectora. Spectora is very easy to navigate, but we need you to watch these two videos to make the most out of your experience.

  • Yes absolutely. We ask that if you arrive, that you wait till the end of the inspection to ask questions. It is difficult to inspect homes while holding a conversation and will lead to items being missed. Most clients arrive at the end of the inspection period.

  • If you cannot attend the inspection and would like me to review the report with you, we can setup a Google Meets call. (it is similar to zoom, but does not require an App download).

    Please be in front of a laptop or a desktop.

    Attending the call from a cellphone is not ideal.

    Please review the report before we get on the phone.

  • In the State of Nevada, home inspectors do not check

    1) Cosmetic items

    2) Landscaping Systems

    3) Security, Audio Visual, Wifi

    4) Water Softeners

    5) Termites

  • Inspection restrictions are physical and safety limitations home inspectors face, some examples are:

    Fall Hazards: We do not climb ladders to get to roofs taller than 10', this is a fall hazard.

    Most of our roof inspections are performed via drone. While we can fly the drone is most areas around town we cannot fly the drone in restricted areas, like near airports, wildlife areas, or hospitals.

    Seller’s Belongings: We cannot move a home owner's belongings. It’s possible for a seller to intentionally or unintentionally hide a defect in the home.

    Crawlspaces: At First Home Inspectors, we do not inspect crawlspaces underneath homes.

    Attics in Homes Older than 1978: We do not inspect attic spaces for homes older than 1978 due to concerns about friable asbestos.
